Tales of the Mage
The Home Town Girl
Episode 2
A decent sized city lies in the background as viewed from a hilltop with a setting sun. Standing on the hill top is a young woman with green hair bits and pieces of armor about her a ancient sword strapped to her hip and she leans on the staff.
Girl-"Whew! I thought I'd never make it."
She descends the hill to the city as night falls and walks into the Inn plopping down on a seat. Shortly a barmaid comes over to take her order and is startled but happy.
Barmaid-"Adrianna! You're home!"
Adrianna-"Tia! You're old enough to work here now?"
Tia-"Yup. Actually I started a couple of years back you've been gone a long time. Hey dad! Adrianna's home!"
Bartender (waving and coming over)-"Welcome home Adri."
Adrianna-"Thanks. I'm just passing through and thought I'd stop and visit. I'm starved!"
Bartender-"Yes, yes. We can talk more. Now you just eat your fill and welcome back to Rinhold."
Adrianna smiles. Cut away to a late night discussion with Adrianna, Bartender, and his wife.
Bartender-"So what are your plans now Adri? Come back to run the Inn?"
Adrianna-"Sorry Korin. I'm just passing through and thought I'd better stop and visit."
Wife-"But Adri honey the Inn is yours and you should be here. It's much safer than wandering around the Kingdoms of Korukai."
Adrianna-"I know Anya, but I'll never find my destiny here in this Inn. I have a feeling it's tied to my sword. I know it sounds strange but I have this feeling that I'm supposed to do something and it has nothing to do with the Inn."
Korin-"So what will you do with the Inn?"
Adrianna-"Well you've been doing such a good job. You should keep it."
Anya-"Are you sure hon. This place has been in your family for centuries.
Adrianna-I know...but it's time for me to move on...I hope you understand.
Korin grunts and nods and we cut away to bright and early Adrianna is on the road outside of Rinhold. As she walks from the town she eventually runs into a forest where she is accosted by monsters (most notably goblins and an orc leader) After making short work of them Adrianna wonders why monsters are so close to her home town. There have been few reports of harmful monsters in the area for over the past 300 years. she doesn't go much farther before she encounters another small band of monsters (orcs, kobolds, with a hobgoblin as the leader) She takes care of all but the hobgoblin and she proceeds to get answers out of him.
Adrianna-Ok what are you monsters doing out here and in such large groups too!
Hobgoblin (disconcerted with Adrianna's attitude)-I'm not going to tell you!
Adrianna-Why not?
Hobgoblin-Because you're the enemy stupid human!
Adrianna-Hey that's not nice! Maybe you should just join your friends.
Hobgoblin-No wait! I'll talk.
Adrianna-Really?! How sweet of you!
Hobgoblin (dismayed)-We were ordered to attack the nearby village and capture it.
Adrianna-Why the villagers haven't done anything to you!
Hobgoblin-Eh...look all I was told to do was lead this here party of kobolds and orcs and attack the town with the other groups I don't exactly ask the motivations of the dragon telling me to do it!
Adrianna-Dragon?!
She dashes off back to the town.
Hobgoblin-Hey wait you can't just leave me here!!!
Adrianna continues off not paying attention. she arrives at the village to find the villagers hard pressed so she joins the fight casting her various magics until the dragon appears. It's a great red beast who begins burning the town faster than Adrianna can cast water magics to stop it.
Dragon-Pitiful wizard you shall now see the futility of your efforts to stop us!
Adrianna (pulls an ice blue gem from her belt pouch and smiles almost like a vacant eyed ditz)-Well all I can do is try my best!
Dragon (laughing)-Yes and let's see what your best is!
Adrianna (cupping her hands either side of the floating and glowing gem)-Here we go! Shiva transform!
Adrianna does a transformation sequence and merging with the totem Shiva. She now has purple flowing hair with red and blonde streaks as well as pale blue skin.
Adri/Shiva-Now you will pay...for destroying my home...something we can never forgive. Ice Blast!
A massive ice attack hits the dragon freezing him solid. He falls to the ground and shatters and Adri/Shiva changes back to Adrianna.
Adrianna-Whew! I did it.
The next morning sees a happy village waving good by to one of their own as Adrianna set off again in search of her destiny!

Magician's Bandit??
Episode 4
Show Adri from a Ridge line over looking a large valley with several towns of various sizes orc of them burning a few others smoking. The time of day is sunset.
Adri: What could have caused such destruction? Sighs oh well, guess I'd better go see (smiles and makes a victory pose The wildlife in the background get the oversized Anime tear) Because I'm the Elemental Mage Champion of Justice Adrianna Rinhart - yay!
Day downs brightly over a village. People emerge, work crews begin working on repairing the village and restoring it back to a normal village. Business picks up. Enter once again Adri walking around talking to people about the attacks, being met with uncooperativeness.
Adri: (sighs) Why won't they let me help them?
Adri bumps into a familiar youngster abruptly. The kid is wearing his standard large long sleeved overcoat and has sandy hair.
Adri: Umph! Huh? Oh, I'm sorry!
Kat: No problem Big Sister! May I help You?
Adri: Thank you, but unless you know something these attacks, no.
Kat: Oh that! Sure, I can help you!
Adri: (head and rest now normal, her eyes still frighteningly vacant) Oh thank you, thank you!
Kat: (large tear) uhh, sure......
Cut away to an inn, dishes piled up on the table with Kat and Adri on either side talking about the Merc Bandits raiding the towns.
Adri: So let me get this right, a former Merc group gone bandits are raiding, taking "tribute" from the towns and villages.
Kat: Exactly and their leader wants to rule here.
Adri: You sure do know an awful lot for a kid.
Kat: Hey, what can I say, I'm a kid, no one notices me!
Adri: Not even with that giant coat?
Kat: (tear) ummm....no. So what's the plan?
Adri: I would have thought that was obvious! Infiltrate the bandits, confront the leader and bring him to justice!
Kat: (tear) uh-huh....
Cut away to a dark room lit only by a medium sized (bowling ball) crystal ball floating just before a throne of stone and bones. A figure in dark robes her face obscure and only a few strands of blonde hair sticking out from the cowl of the robes sits have looking at the goings on in the crystal.
Drk Wmn: Damn that girl, she interferes again. Between her and that boy they have caused me a great deal of trouble!
DEV: Why not let the mercenaries deal with her?
DrkWmn: She has the Shiva Stone, they would be no match for her.
DEV: Then send Rhuma Mistress lightning to counter her ice.
DrkWmn: Yess....Rhuma go assist Gamma and stop the little wizard girl!
Rhuma, a mage of advanced years steps forward.
Rhuma: I shall see to it Lady.
The mage disappears to the laughter of our Villain
Cut to Adrianna and Katsuya hiding in a gully, looking over the edge at the Merc Bandits.
Adri: Gee, finding them was awful easy.
Kat: Too easy big sister
Adri: Sure is a lot of them.
Kat: Yup, fifty easy.
Adri: I guess this will call for the big guns. You wait here. Levitation!
Adri levitates, leaving Kat alone and looking thoughtful. She gets a good distance so she can view the entire encampment.
Adri: Ok, here we go!
A gem appears in her cupped hands of ice blue.
Adri: Shiva POWER!
A transformation sequence occurs merging Adrianna and the Shiva totem. As Adri/Shiva finish merging she stuck in the back by a lightening bolt and cries out in pain, turning about to face a Rhuma who is crackling energy. This is actually Rhuma/Raiden merge.
A/S: Who are you?
R/R: One who serves another. You have interfered with this Lady's plans for the last time!
A/S: What are you talking about?
R/R: THUNDER STORM! (Large bolts of lightening strike around, hitting Adri/Shiva)
Adri/Shiva in danger of being killed, begins gathering strength when the merc camp begins exploding. Rhuma/Raiden is distracted.
A/S: ICE WALL ENTOMB!
R/R: Wha?
He is then encased in ice and he plummets. Adri/Shiva looks down to see the devastated camp and floats down, returning to her normal form. When she lands, she sees Katsuya sitting on a long, watching the fires.
Adri: What happened?
Kat: (shrugs) I don't know, the place just exploded.
Adri: (looks thoughtful) Oh well. Were there any survivors?
Kat: Not that I'm aware of.
Adri: How strange. I guess I'll just move on them.
Kat: Mind if I come with you Big Sister?
Adri: Sure, if your family doesn't mind.
Kat: Yippie!
